Sweet Biscuits Applications
85g of Melted butter or Vegetable oils mix (60g of coconut oil and 25g of sunflower oil)
80g of Sugar (you can mix brown and white)
2 tbsp of Honey (about 70g)
100g of Whole Grain Oat flour
75g of Planetarians White flour
75g of Oat Flakes
50g of Hazelnut (roasted & chopped)
50-70ml of Warm water (the mixture will be crumbly but moist)
1 tsp of Baking powder
Preheat oven to 325 F. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper or a silicone liner. Beat the butter or vegetable oils, gradually adding honey and sugar. Grind oat flakes with flour, add baking powder. Then add the dry mix into bowl with butter and sugar. Thoroughly mix to combine. The mixture will be crumbly but moist. Add some water if needed. Roll out the dough on the cutting board and send in the refrigerator for about half an hour (dough thickness about 4 mm). Using the cookie cutter make biscuits. Place them onto the lined baking/cookie sheet leaving an inch or two between them. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until they turn light brown.
They may seem soft, but will get crispy as they cool.
